What Is the Best Game of Thrones Season
Winter is coming!
Today, Game of Thrones is a worldwide sensation, with millions of enthusiastic fans, waiting eagerly for the next episode. This TV-show produced by HBO has captured the imagination of millions, combining drama, realism and brutal adventure. Game of Thrones is the first book written by George R.R Martin’s award winning fantasy saga “A song of Fire and Ice”. In a fantasy kingdom called Westeros, a king seats on the Iron Throne and rules over seven domains, former kingdoms. You will be greeted by Eddard Stark, played by Sean Bean (Boromir from Lord of the Rings), lord of the North, and ruler of Winterfell. The noble watcher of the North is asked by King Robert Baratheon to become Hand of the King, a sort of Prime-minister with immense power. Robert is afraid that exiled prince Viserys Targaryen and his sister Daenerys Targaryen will overthrow him. The two set out from the city of Pentos, allied with the leader of the Dothraki hoard, Khal Drogo, played by Jason Momoa.
Game of Thrones is a place where lords change alliances faster than clothes. You will begin to love or hate certain characters but as the plot thickens the game itself will capture your complete attention. One of the main characters is Queen Cersei Lannister played by Lena Headey from 300, a powerful woman that plots to end House Stark legendary power and influence. Some critics consider Game of Thrones a sort of Sopranos in Middle-Earth, packing heat and leading armies to their end. The game involves powerful Houses: Stark Baratheon, Targaryen, Lannister, Tuly, Greyjoy and others to seize the Iron Throne and absolute power. HBO realism can be felt at every turn, including violence, brutality, death and sex scenes. One thing is certain, you won’t get bored, not even one bit! In the fantasy world of Westeros, summers last decades but winters go on for lifetimes, bringing the cold chills of death. As Ned Stark says “Winter is coming” and we better be prepared for its fury.
